Academic presentations at the Japan Society for International Development (JASID) Conference in Hokkaido, Japan

OBJECTIVE.

Four of our second-year students, who originally came from Vietnam and Indonesia, excelled in presenting their thesis research at the 26th JASID Spring Conference, hosted by Hokkaido University.
This experience provided them with the opportunity to receive valuable feedback from researchers and to exchange ideas and collaborate.

Rikkyo University supports graduate students by providing financial assistance to present their research at academic conferences, opening doors to potential publication opportunities.

“The thoughtful questions and constructive feedback from an engaged audience at the JASID conference pushed me to rethink key aspects of our analysis and inspired new ideas for refining our methodology.
Serving as a discussant for another research session was equally rewarding, offering me the opportunity to engage critically with my peers’ work and to foster constructive dialogue across disciplines.”
