Field Trip in 2021 Winter
OBJECTIVE.
The field trip for MPMA students was held in March. 14 students from Indonesia, Nepal, Vietnam and China visited Echigo Yuzawa, Niigata Prefecture, which is the northern part of Japan. This year we had a special guest, Dean Yamaguchi, so students could enjoy chatting with him outside of the campus.
Considering the current situation, this event was held as a one-day trip different from the annual year.
Our main purpose of this trip is to experience skiing as a cultural exchange. Our "learning by doing" teaching policy is applied not only to the classroom. The professors and administrative staff became ski instructors on this trip.
Some of them tried to ride on a lift and challenged skiing from the middle of the mountain only by themselves, though this was a very first experience for them!
It was a short time though, they really enjoyed the activity among friends and faculty members.
